Lufthansa cancels 876 flights

About 100,000 Lufthansa passengers will be affected by industrial action as the airline cancels 876 flights.

German airline Lufthansa is cancelling more than a third of its flights due to a walkout by pilots amid a long-running pay dispute.

The 876 cancellations on Wednesday, out roughly 3000 scheduled flights for the day, will affect around 100,000 passengers, Lufthansa said on Tuesday.
