Queensland turned on a display of power-hitting to secure a bonus point in a one-sided seven-wicket win over South Australia at Hurstville Oval in Sydney.

Chris Lynn was in imperious form in scoring 106 not out, following on from powerhouse half-centuries by openers Sam Heazlett (80 off 78 balls) and Max Bryant (71 of 32).

The opening pair put on 106 from just 10.4 overs before Lynn picked up the cudgel, bludgeoning eight fours and eight sixes as the Bulls raced to the victory target.

Queensland's top three crunched 19 sixes between them, making full use of the ground's small boundaries to reach 3-281 and pass South Australia's 280 off just 35.3 overs.

Lynn top scored with 70 in Queensland's four-wicket defeat against Tasmania at the weekend, having opened the season with a duck.

South Australia were indebted to veteran batsman Tom Cooper, who played a virtually lone hand in posting 139 - his highest one-day score.

The only others Redbacks' batsman to offer resistance were opener Alex Carey (42 off 40 balls) and leg-spinner Adam Zampa (30 off 22).

After being sent in to bat, the Redbacks slipped to 3-36 and 5-114, but Cooper found form in crunching seven sixes.
