Lyon swings axe for Pavlich AFL milestone

Fremantle have settled on four changes for Sunday's AFL clash with Sydney in Perth, where Matthew Pavlich will play his 350th match.

Dockers coach Ross Lyon has dropped Jonathon Griffin, Tendai Mzungu, Connor Blakely and Nick Suban.

Pavlich, Matt de Boer, Darcy Tucker and Alex Silvagni have all been promoted.

Swans co-captain Jarrad McVeigh will return from a groin injury, having been recalled alongside Toby Nankervis in place of Jordan Foote (omitted) and Callum Sinclair (knee).

Adelaide opted to include David Mackay and Paul Seedsman for Sunday's game against Essendon.

Ricky Henderson (achilles) and Taylor Walker (ankle) will both miss the Adelaide Oval encounter because of injury.

The Bombers brought in Sam Michael, Craig Bird and James Polkinghorne in place of Shaun McKernan (illness), James Kelly (rested) and Mitch Brown (groin).

Gold Coast and Melbourne both made one change for their MCG match on Sunday, with Matt Rosa and Aaron Vandenberg called up respectively in place of Seb Tape and Alex Neal-Bullen.
