* Robinson recovered from a first-round knockdown to win a 10-round decision against the 'Raging Bull' LaMotta. It was a classic first instalment in what would become a legendary five-fight tussle between them.

* Louis came out of retirement at 37 years old to cop an eighth-round knockout and pass the torch to up-and-coming heavyweight contender Marciano, who would go on to establish an flawless 49-0 career record.
MUHAMMAD ALI vs JOE FRAZIER -- March 1971
* The 'Fight of the Century'. Frazier handed Ali his first defeat via unanimous decision after 15 brutal rounds between the world's two best heavyweights at the time.
MUHAMMAD ALI vs JOE FRAZIER II -- January 1974
* It didn't live up to the hype of the first and wasn't as good as the third Ali-Frazier bout, with both men past their best, but Ali got the revenge he was seeking and set up a title shot against then-champ George Foreman.
EVANDER HOLYFIELD vs LENNOX LEWIS -- March 1999
* The highest-grossing gate in MSG history and one of the most controversial results, with Holyfield stealing a questionable draw despite Lewis' clear dominance to retain his IBF and WBA heavyweight titles.
