Malala Yousafzai, the teenager shot in the head by the Taliban, has been given the honour of opening Europe's largest public library in Birmingham, UK.

The library cost nearly 200 million pounds, and holds a million books.

The 16-year-old said she was "honoured" to be part of the opening ceremony.
