A plane belonging to a Malaysia-based airline skidded off the runway during take-off in Nepal, forcing the airline to suspend the flight, an airport official says.
The Malindo Air plane carrying 139 people was en route to Kuala Lumpur when the incident occurred late on Thursday, said Prem Nath Thakur, a spokesman at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday.
The plane skidded about 30 metres off the runway, Thakur told dpa.
No injuries were reported. Thakur said international flights were resumed after moving the plane.
Fifty-one people were killed last month when a US-Bangla Airlines crashed while landing at the airport.
