Two men have been charged after they allegedly bashed and robbed a 60-year-old man at a park in Sydney's southwest.

Neville Shaw was set upon by four men at Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown about 8pm Friday

He was helped by passers-by and taken to Campbelltown Hospital.

"I cut through Koshigaya Park to Woolworths and then that was it, just a blank after that," Mr Shaw told the Seven Network on Saturday.

"They just come out of nowhere."
