Man, 69, dies after southern Qld crash

A 69-year-old man has been killed after he lost control of his car and hit a tree in southern Queensland.

A man has died in hospital after he lost control of his car and hit a tree on Queensland's Darling Downs.

The 69-year-old was the sole occupant of the Holden sedan when it crashed at Ellangowan, near Toowoomba, on July 17.

The Texas man died from his injuries on Saturday at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
