Man arrested for SA Australia Day shooting

A man will appear in court charged with shooting another man in Adelaide on Australia Day.

A man has been charged over a shooting in Adelaide on Australia Day.

The 31-year-old will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with intentionally causing harm and firearms offences over the incident at Happy Valley.

The alleged victim managed to get himself to the Noarlunga Hospital despite suffering a number of gunshot wounds early on Tuesday, police say.

His injuries were serious but not life threatening.
