A Queensland man accused of biting a female police officer and male paramedic is facing three assault charges.
The 22-year-old Chevron Island man is accused of attacking the pair after police were called to a Thomas Drive address on Saturday night.
It's alleged he bit the female constable on the hand as she tried to restrain him after he assaulted another woman.
He then bit the male paramedic as he was being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital later that night, police say.
The police officer has an injured finger and will be screened for diseases, while the paramedic was not injured.

A 20-year-old woman was also hospitalised with minor injuries.
The 22-year-old man will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday charged with one count each of serious assault police, serious assault public officer and assault occasioning bodily harm.
