Man charged for Melbourne CBD sex assaults

A 42-year-old man is due to face court charged with two counts of rape and other offences over an attack at a licensed venue in Melbourne's CBD.

A man has been charged with sexual assaults at a licensed venue in Melbourne's CBD.

The 42-year-old Hampton Park man is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with two counts of rape, two counts of false imprisonment and common law assault.

Police said the charges relate to an incident at a King St venue on February 2.
