Man charged over fatal Sydney shooting

A man accused of fatally shooting another man in the neck outside a home in Sydney's northwest has been charged with murder and is due to front court on Sunday.

A man has been charged with murder over the fatal shooting of a man outside a home in Sydney's northwest.

The 29-year-old was arrested at the scene of the alleged murder at Baulkham Hills on Friday night and charged on Sunday morning, police say.

His alleged victim, 20, was treated for a gunshot wound to the neck and taken to Westmead Hospital, where he died.

The accused murderer has also been charged with possessing cannabis, four firearms offences and cultivating a prohibited plant and is due before Paramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
