An Adelaide man has been charged over a one-punch attack at a hotel at suburban Glenelg.

A man will face court in January over a one-punch attack in an Adelaide pub which left the victim with a broken nose.

Police will allege the 28-year-old punched another man in the head at the hotel at suburban Glenelg on Sunday night.

He has been charged with assault and bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on January 24.
