Man charged over shots at Melb gym owner

A 25-year-old man will face a Melbourne court charged over the attempted murder of a gym owner last year.

A man has been charged with attempting to murder a Melbourne gym owner who was sprayed with glass after a masked gunman fired shots through his car window.

A Glen Waverley man, 25, will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, just weeks after police offered a $100,000 reward for more information on the May 21, 2015 attack.

Nicholas Solomos needed treatment for cuts after shots were fired though his car window in his Burnside driveway, narrowly missing him.
