Man charged over Sydney office stabbing

A man, 23, who allegedly stabbed a female office worker in Darlinghurst on Wednesday afternoon has been charged with attempted murder.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed at a Sydney office building.

NSW Police allege the man stabbed a female employee in a Darlinghurst office block on Wednesday afternoon.

The 28-year-old victim was allegedly stabbed in the hand and also sustained a small wound to the face before the man was "brought under control".

He's been charged with attempted murder and intentional wounding.

The 23-year-old is due to appear at Central Local Court on Thursday.
