A man has been charged with culpable driving after his back seat passenger died when a car hit a pole during a police chase in Melbourne.
Police allegedly tried to stop a car in Seaford on Sunday morning, but it failed to stop and was later found crashed into a pole with a 23-year-old Seaford man dead inside.
A 28-year-old Carrum Downs man, has been with charged culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death and fail to remain at the scene of an accident, and has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Monday.
