Man charged with murdering policewomen

A man has been charged with the murders of two policewomen in a gun and grenade attack in Britain.

Greater Manchester Police have charged Dale Cregan has been charged with the murder of two unarmed policewomen on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old is also charged with killing Mark Short and his father David in separate incidents earlier this year.

Police said the murders have been part of an ongoing feud between two criminal families and they have called for it to stop.

“Enough is enough,” said Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan. "This has to end.”
