Man charged with Qld stabbing murder

A man has been charged with murder after another man was fatally stabbed in the chest south of Brisbane.

A 27-year-old man will appear in court accused of stabbing another man to death south of Brisbane.

The victim, 54, suffered multiple wounds to his chest after a fight in the Logan suburb of Marsden on Monday afternoon.

He died at the scene, sparking a manhunt for his killer.

Police arrested the younger man a few hours later, and say he knew the victim.

He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday, charged with murder.
