A man has died after a wave capsized the small boat he was in off Western Australia's southern coast.
Police say the man was with two other people at Peaceful Bay near Walpole when the wave struck.
A passing boat collected the unresponsive man, aged in his 70s, then a doctor and off-duty paramedic tried to save him onshore before an ambulance came to take him to Denmark Hospital where he died upon arrival.
