Man dead in motorbike crash near Sydney

A motorcycle crash northwest of Sydney has left a man dead and a woman in a critical condition in hospital.

A man has died and a woman is in a critical condition in hospital after a motorcycle crash at Richmond northwest of Sydney.

Police say the man died at the crash scene near Hawkesbury Valley Way, Richmond, in the early hours of Sunday.

The woman was treated by paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
