A man has died after his car crashed off a cliff in southeast Queensland.

The 64-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving left Mount Nebo Road, northwest of Brisbane, and crashed down an embankment around 7.45am on Saturday.

The incident is the latest in a series of crashes that have occurred on Queensland roads in the space of 24 hours.

A 59-year-old woman died after the car she was travelling in collided with a truck on the Bruce Highway at Tiaro, north of Brisbane, on Friday afternoon.

The driver of the car, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the truck was not injured and police are investigating the cause of the incident.

Meanwhile, a man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a ute in central Queensland.

The 25-year-old died at the scene of the crash in Benaraby on Friday night, police say.
