Man dies in single vehicle accident in Qld

A man is dead and a woman is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a single vehicle accident in Queensland.

A man has died and a woman has been injured in a car accident north of Brisbane.

A ute rolled on its roof on the Bruce Highway at Forest Glen, southwest of Maroochydore about 6.50pm (AEST), police said.

A 61-year-old Beerwah man died at the scene and his 51-year-old female passenger from Ipswich was taken to Nambour Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Further details were unavailable and police have appealed for witnesses.
