Man dies in Victorian motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist has died in eastern Victoria after it's believed he left the road and slid down a hill at Mount Buller, police say.

A man has died after his motorcycle left the road and slid down a hill at Mount Buller in Victoria's east.

The incident on Mt Buller Road happened just after 10am on Sunday.

The man was set to be airlifted to hospital after being rescued by emergency services but he died at the scene. The exact cause of the crash is being investigated.
