Man dies in Victorian skydiving accident

A man in his 40s has been killed in a skydiving accident near Barwon Heads, south of Melbourne.

A man has been killed in a skydiving accident in Victoria.

The man, aged in his 40s, was part of a group of 15 skydivers who left Barwon Heads Airport on Friday afternoon.

His body was found at a nearby paddock about 2pm, a police spokeswoman said.

His family are yet to be notified.

The Australian Parachute Federation will assist police in the investigation, the spokeswoman said.
