Man drowns during yacht race

The body of a crew-member from a yacht competing in a race has been found was washed-up on the south-eastern tip of Tasmania.

Police say they got a call late last night that a crew member had fallen overboard in the Channel area, south of Hobart.

They say the body of a West Hobart man aged in his 50s was found by a rescue helicopter on a beach area near Dennes Point on Bruny Island.
