A man will face court in northern NSW after being extradited from Queensland over a robbery in which three men allegedly ransacked a home and threatened the resident.

Police say the 28-year-old was arrested in Southport, Queensland on Thursday and extradited on Friday.

He appeared at Tweed Heads Local Court on Saturday charged with robbery in company and aggravated breaking, entering and stealing.

His is the second arrest in connection with the April 13 incident, which took place in Armidale.

Another 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in the hours immediately after the alleged robbery and will appear at Armidale Local Court on Wednesday.
