Man faces court on underwear charges

A man accused of offering women cash for their underwear at Gold Coast shopping centres has faced a Queensland court on public nuisance charges.

A Gold Coast man accused of harassing female shoppers and offering them cash for their underwear has faced a Queensland court.

Blair Williams, 47, made a brief appearance at Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face four counts of public nuisance.

The Coomera man is accused of approaching random women and making the underwear request at shopping centres in Helensvale and Robina.

Williams' case was adjourned until October 24.

He also has a notice to appear in a Brisbane court on similar public nuisance charges after allegedly making the same request of several Brisbane women earlier in the year.
