22-year-old Thomas Magill had jumped from the high-rise at West 63rd Street, but the back seat of a Dodge Charger broke his fall after he crashed through the windshield.

It is believed Magill would have reached upwards of 160kmh whilst falling

But he has multiple injuries including broken legs and is in a critical condition.

Three years ago window washer Alcides Moreno fell 47 storeys from a New York skyscraper and doctors expect him to walk again.
