A man who targeted a Sydney adult entertainment venue by filling a lubricant dispenser with hydrochloride acid has been fined $100.

Hengky Irawan, 62, also was placed on a two-year good behaviour bond after secretly putting the acid in the dispenser at the Rydalmere gay and bi-sexual social club on August 27.

Irawan, who appeared in Parramatta Local Court, was arrested after an alarm sounded leading to him being detained by security officers.

He pleaded guilty to administering poison intending to injure, cause stress or pain, and to entering a building to commit an indictable offence.

Irawan also admitted damaging property and driving while his licence was suspended.
