The body of a man last seen drinking on Australia Day has been found washed up in a Queensland creek.
Fishermen discovered the 64-year-old man's body in Mullet Creek, near Yandaran north of Bundaberg, early Friday morning.
"Police believe (the) deceased was last seen alive on the evening of Australia Day drinking at Norval Park Beach," a police statement read.
"From there, it is thought that he left the beach area in a white utility along South Littabella Road with his two dogs."
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the man in the area since Australia Day.
