A NSW man has been charged after police allegedly found $1 million worth of ice in his car.

The 53-year-old from Cabramatta was stopped in Coffs Harbour at 3am on Sunday where his car was searched, uncovering one kilogram of ice, a drug pipe and cash, police say.

He was refused bail and will appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Sunday.
