A man armed with scissors has attacked three people on the street and attempted to rob a pharmacy in Melbourne.
The 25-year-old man was arrested in Preston on Saturday morning after assaulting three men on the street, including a man in his 80s, and then attempting to hold up a chemist with a pair of scissors.
Three people in the chemist then grappled with the man and one suffered a serious gash on the head before the would-be robber was subdued and arrested by police.
