Man held, not charged over Vic car death

A Melbourne man remains in custody over the death of a man found in a crashed car with stab wounds.

A Melbourne man remains in custody after being arrested over the death of another man found in a crashed car with stab wounds, but has not been charged.

The victim died at the scene following a minor crash in Glenroy about midday on Wednesday.

At the time, Senior Sergeant Tim Cron said the stab wounds were not sustained in the accident.

A 20-year-old Glenroy man was arrested at 10.30pm on Wednesday night and is still in custody, a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
