Man in UK train station stabbing charged

The man involved in a stabbing incident at a London Underground station has been charged with attempted murder, Britain's Scotland Yard says.

A man arrested after a knife attack at a London Underground station has been charged with attempted murder, Scotland Yard says.

Muhaydin Mire, 29, of Leytonstone, will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court accused of the attempted murder of a 56-year-old man on Saturday.

Two men were attacked at the station by the man, who allegedly declared "This is for Syria".
