Man seriously hurt in WA hit-and-run

WA police are investigating the suspected hit-and-run of a man who developed hypothermia after being left seriously hurt on the side of a road.

A man has hypothermia and serious injuries to his legs after being the victim of a suspected hit-and-run.

Police say the 21-year-old was walking along Gingin Brook Road in Granville, north of Perth, when he was struck early on Sunday morning.

He was found lying on an embankment by a passing motorist and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital.
