A North Dakota man has accidently shot himself in the head with a nail gun sending a three inch nail straight through his skull.
The nail was found wedged between the left and right hemispheres of Jeff Luptak's brain, narrowly missing major blood vessels.
Two doctors worked for two hours to remove the nail.

Although Luptak is experiencing problems in his left toes and ankle he is expected to make a full recovery.
