Man shot during western Sydney altercation

A 26-year-old has been arrested after a man was shot in the hand during a western Sydney altercation.

A man in his 20s has been shot in the hand during an altercation in western Sydney.

Emergency Services found the wounded man at a home on Pelsart Avenue in Wilmot on Saturday night and sent him off to hospital.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in relation to the shooting and say he is assisting officers with their inquiries.
