Man spits at, bites Qld security guard

A man has allegedly bitten a security guard on the arm following a dispute with staff at a transport company on the Gold Coast.

A man will face court accused of spitting at and biting a security guard on the arm after a dispute at a business on the Gold Coast.

Police say the man became aggressive towards the security guard after getting into an an argument about a ticket with staff of a transport company at Surfers Paradise on Sunday morning.

The 34-year-old will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm and public nuisance.
