Police are seeking three men after a man was stabbed during a confrontation on the Gold Coast.
Police say three men armed with knives attempted to force entry into a Pimpama address at around 7pm on Sunday before being confronted by the 51-year-old occupant, sparking a fight.
A 30-year-old man who also lived at the address became involved but both occupants retreated when one of the intruders produced a machete. The three men then ran off.
The 51-year-old resident suffered three non-life threatening stab wounds to his upper body and facial injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
Police say it is believed the men involved are known to each other.
