Man taken to hospital after Qld stand-off

Queensland police spent hours negotiating with a man inside a Mount Isa home overnight before he was taken to hospital.

A police stand-off with a man accused of making threats in Mount Isa in Queensland is over.

Officers closed Webb Street shortly before 1am on Wednesday while negotiators spoke to the man inside a home.

The situation was resolved peacefully about three hours later and the man was taken to hospital.
