A man is due in a Brisbane court charged with the murder of socialite Maureen Boyce.
Police were called to an apartment at Kangaroo Point on Thursday morning where they found the body of Ms Boyce.
A 63-year-old man, who had been staying with the 68-year-old woman, was charged on Friday night with murder and ordered to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Ms Boyce was a successful model in the 1960s and '70s when she went by her maiden name Maureen Madden.
