Manas Resources has appointed chief operating officer Philip Reese as the resource company's new boss.
Mr Reese, who has held the COO position since July 2011, has been instrumental managing the on-going development of the Shambesai Gold from the initial scoping study through to completion of all major project permitting.
Manas said Monday that Mr Reese in his new role will work closely with executive chairman Mark Calderwood in implementing the group's dual strategy of procuring project finance for the development of the Shambesai Gold Project or securing a partial or outright disposal of the group's Kyrgyz mineral assets.
