Manly go external to break NRL slump

Manly brought in motivational speaker and cancer survivor Michael Crossland this week to talk about his story of triumphing over adversity.

Manly are hoping an inspirational talk from one of the country's most in-demand speakers can snap them out of their NRL slump and re-ignite their premiership push.

Sea Eagles players on Wednesday sat down with cancer survivor Michael Crossfield and listened to his story about triumphing over adversity.

"That was pretty good actually. He gave us a bit of perspective on what life can really be like and the journey he's been through," forward Shaun Lane said on Thursday.
