Manly back-rower Lewis Brown is expected to miss the next two NRL rounds due to a knee injury however the club has signed Kelepi Tanginoa to help alleviate his loss.

Fresh off losing fellow second rower Curtis Sironen for two months with a pectoral injury, Brown is expected to miss the high-flying Sea Eagles' next two clashes with Penrith and Wests Tigers.

Former Parramatta forward Tanginoa trained with his new teammates at Narrabeen on Tuesday but is considered several weeks off being ready for the NRL.

Tanginoa, who has played 16 NRL games in his stints with North Queensland and Parramatta, was on Monday released from his contract with the Eels.
