Man's body found at popular Vic waterfall

A man has been found dead after disappearing while swimming at a popular Victorian waterfall.

A man has died after disappearing under water at a popular waterfall in Victoria's west.

The 28-year-old Pakenham man was last seen about 5pm on Saturday afternoon when witnesses saw him go under at Mackenzie Falls in the Grampians National Park.

Emergency crews looking for him found a body, yet to be formally identified, about 9.30am on Sunday morning, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
