New technology being developed by a US company could soon give firefighters 'bionic' vision, providing them with data about their surroundings.

The hi-tech mask aims to give firefighters the ability to see oxygen levels, temperatures and exit paths.

The mask will also allow them to keep tabs on and communicate with the rest of their team.
