Australia's women's football side and Asian Cup winners have headed off to face arch-foe Brazil at the World Cup in Germany.

Matildas coach Tom Sermanni says his team will be fearless in its pursuit of the Women's World Cup in Germany.

The Asian champions assembled at FFA headquarters this morning before flying off to Europe.

They face 2007 rivals Brazil in their first group match of the tournament.
