May 'weighs vote on second Brexit poll'

British Prime Minister Theresa May could allow MPs to vote on whether there should be a second Brexit referendum, according to a report.

British Prime Minister Theresa May is considering giving MPs a vote on whether to hold a second Brexit referendum in a bid to break a deadlock with the opposition Labour Party, the Telegraph reports.

The British newspaper says May discussed the idea of offering to put her deal to a confirmatory public vote with some of her ministers on Monday.

It also reported that May's chief enforcer in parliament is confident the government has the numbers to defeat any attempt to hold a second referendum.
