Greater Western Sydney football operations boss Graeme Allan says the Giants have no intention of letting want-away key forward Cam McCarthy join Fremantle.
McCarthy signed a two-year contract extension with GWS midway through the AFL season before having a change of heart and declaring he wanted to head home to Western Australia.
He has been strongly linked with the Dockers, who are in desperate need of a big forward and could be prepared to offer up their first-round picks in the 2015 and 2016 drafts to snare McCarthy.
"We love Cam, he loves Sydney and Cam will be staying with us," Allan told Trade Radio on Tuesday.
"He's really enjoyed it up in Sydney and he's got a lot of great friends.
"He'll be definitely playing with us next year.
"We love him, (coach Leon Cameron) is a big fan of his."
Allan was also bullish about the Giants retaining another contracted key-position player, Adam Tomlinson, who was starved of senior opportunities in 2015 and has been linked with a move to Carlton.
The Giants remain very disappointed to be losing gun midfielder Adam Treloar but Allan said there was no guarantee the 22-year-old would get to his preferred destination of Collingwood.
"There's a lot of clubs speaking to us about Adam," said Allan of Treloar, who will likely cost his new club two first-round picks at the trade table.
The Giants are in the market for another experienced ruckman to support No.1 Shane Mumford and have shown some interest in Dawson Simpson, who has slipped down the pecking order at Geelong.
But Allan said GWS weren't chasing West Coast big man Callum Sinclair.
