McGrath shares fall on ASX debut

McGrath shares are down nearly seven per cent as the real estate firm started trading on the Australian share market.

Shares in McGrath Ltd are down around seven per cent as the residential real estate firm made its debut on the Australian share market on Monday.

McGrath was 14 cents, or 6.67 per cent, lower at $1.96 at 1342 AEDT.

McGrath, raised nearly $130 million in an initial public offer of shares at $2.10 per share.

Sydney-based McGrath has 67 offices and generated $11.6 billion in property sales in the year to June 30, 2015.
